Well, it seems the scenario is changing, and women are finding a space in different arenas of digital currencies and web3 innovative projects. Data collected from crypto exchanges in India indicates an almost 20 per cent rise in women investors (at the time of writing), and the figure is expected to grow in the future.

Among several women entrepreneurs, Nisha Mutneja created a metaverse education space, talentedHippo, whereby she teaches kids. Her interest grew when Nisha first heard about crypto in 2019 and began with small investments. Today she invests almost 25% of her total income in crypto.
While sharing a glimpse of her journey, Nisha told a local daily that she conducts thorough research and makes an informed decision before investing in any digital currency. Like Nisha, many women in India have started treating crypto as a profitable space.
