A+E Networks Plans To Release History Channel NFT Collection

-

Over 25 glorious years of entertaining and educating people about varied historical facts and cultural moments, A+E networks now venture into web3. In an announcement, the entertainment firm disclosed its plan to launch a History Channel NFT marketplace. The non-fungible tokens have caught the attention of top celebrities and brands lately, trying to connect with fans and customers directly without interfering with third-party vendors.

A+E networks thrill history enthusiasts

A+E networks offer an excellent occasion for History Channel fans to celebrate past events in digitized form. The marketplace will be featuring replicas of the famous shows people loved watching on the History Channel. Holders will get to explore lesser-known historical personalities, historical anniversaries and groundbreakers. The collection will offer a glimpse into how our glorious past shaped the world we live in today.

To achieve a realistic touch to digital art pieces, the entertainment company hired the celebrated artist Derrick Adams who will curate art pieces based on the theme “Our Place in History”. On buying some collectibles, owners can unlock exclusive content and, if lucky, get a physical version of NFT in the form of merchandise from any e-commerce store.

A+E networks and their web3 venture

The History Channel NFT is a collaborative effort of Xooa, blockchain partner, CakeWorks, women founded video agency and media partner History Channel. According to the initiators, this web3 venture will open new avenues for the firm, and they are planning to take up more innovative projects in the future. Rebecca Paoletti, CEO at CakeWorks, feels elated to partner with A+E networks for this revolutionary project.

Besides recreating the past in a brand new way, this collaborative project aims at conducting philanthropic activities. Per reports, a part of the money acquired from the NFT sale will be donated to a charitable trust. Suppose any NFT buyer wishes to offer extended help to a charity. In that case, they can get information about it right on the digital assets.

While shedding light on the project, Derrick Adams said his work would act as a tool for educating the masses about different historical events that have helped develop our world. You can get digital art on OpenSea. For more information, visit the History NFT marketplace.
